Organizations in Alberta looking to enhance their volunteer screening practices can now apply for the Screening Development Micro-Grant (SDM)! Micro-grants of up to $3,000 are available to select organizations that are committed to improving their volunteer screening processes and policies.
Funds may be used to:
- Offset staff time dedicated to updating policies, processes, or role descriptions
- Cover costs related to professional development or hiring external expertise
Along with funds, recipients will receive education, support, and a chance to connect with and learn from peers during the funding period (Sep 2026 - Mar 2027).
