Deep Learning Week: July 22–28
At Volunteer Alberta, we believe meaningful change starts from within. For the past few years, we've been building on our culture of care, curiosity and intentionality. One of the ways we bring this to life is through "Magic Time," our internal process of carving out space for (un)learning, creative thinking, and skill-building.
We're taking the time from July 22–28 to focus on deep learning so we can keep showing up well for the communities and organizations we serve. It's part of our ongoing commitment to practicing what we encourage across the sector: care, curiosity, and mindful growth.
Here's what we'll be up to:
- Deep thinking, imagination, and focused creativity
- Expanding our perspectives through reading and listening
- Advancing our professional development and (un)learning plans
- Making progress on meaningful "side of desk" projects
- Reflecting and co-(un)learning with teammates
