Melody Santiago

At the office, Melody can often be found snacking. Melody has volunteered with organizations serving diverse people groups, among them the Elizabeth Fry Society and Actions for Healthy Communities. Out of all Alberta’s awesome nonprofits, the Mustard Seed takes the top spot, because of its work to dismantle stereotypes regarding poverty and homelessness.

When she’s not at work, Melody enjoys watching thunderstorm whenever it happens and low-key observing the people at the gym for a free tutorial. Melody’s favourite place in Alberta is Banff—all those breath-taking hiking trails!

Melody received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Alberta. She started to work in the nonprofit sector right after graduation.
