Insurance Toolkit for the Voluntary Sector
This Insurance Toolkit for the Voluntary Sector is a practical guide developed to help voluntary sector organizations understand their insurance needs and navigate the complex process of finding the appropriate insurance coverage. Originally developed by CCVO in 2006, it was updated in 2021 by the Government of Alberta, Insurance Bureau of Canada and Volunteer Alberta to reflect changes to voluntary sector insurance resulting from the implementation of Bill 58 (Alberta’s Freedom to Care Act).
