“The National Volunteer Week theme this year is “Celebrate the value of Volunteering” and that is what we intend to do………celebrate! The Town, together with F.C.S.S., and the County of Two Hills have made plans for a Celebration to honour everyone who has served in a volunteer capacity within the last year during National Volunteer Week, April 15 – 21, 2018.

The Celebration will be at the Centennial Hall on April 18, 2018 where we will have a lunch between 11:30 – 1:30 with speakers between 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. This year’s feature speaker is Ally Lane who is humorous and inspiring…you don’t want to miss her!

In addition to showing recognition to all of the volunteers in and around the Town of Two Hills, we want to expand on promoting and recruiting volunteers. Our intentions over the next few years is to 1) annually highlight three groups/organizations to speak briefly about their values and goals, and 2) to annually feature all groups/organizations by providing a brief description about the group/organization with contact information. We hope that this will inspire others to connect with their community in a way that appeals to them and make a positive impact.”
