Since its first publication on April 19, 2007, Volunteer Alberta’s Sector Connector responds to the need for critical information identified by Alberta’s nonprofit/voluntary sector. Each issue keeps sector staff, volunteers and funders up to speed in a host of areas related to the nonprofit/voluntary sector, including: news, issues, events, funding opportunities, trends, reports, articles, program initiatives, public policy, employment opportunities, and other information.

Volunteer Alberta’s mission is to create possibilities in Alberta’s voluntary sector by strategically connecting leaders, members, organizations and networks.The Sector Connector is the front-line of information to strategically connect the nonprofit/voluntary sector and ensure people stay current with happenings across the sector and in their communities.
